Where we work in the Casamance region of Senegal the dominant people group is Jola. Atika is a Jola word that means warrior. We need a tribe of water warriors fighting alongside us to provide as many people as possible with access to safe water.
By giving monthly your pound has the most power. Knowing that we can count on your support every month allows us to plan for the future, expand our projects, and provide more people with boreholes .

That really brought home how much we take running water for granted. It is unimaginable to us even having to fetch water from a well, let alone having to use dirty water from somewhere, possibly miles away.
